21st Annual Otisville Country Fair A Project of the Otisville Lions Club August 27, 28, 29, & 30, 2009 Finchville Tpk & Mt Hope Ave Otisville, NY (Thursday & Friday 4-10 pm; Saturday & Sunday 9am to close) BOOTH RULES AND REGULATIONS
SETUP: Thursday & Friday 9:00 am - 2:00 pm; Saturday 7:00 am – 10:00 am ONLY. NO vehicles may enter the fairgrounds after these hours, for any reason. If you need to set up after these hours you must transport your merchandise into the fairgrounds by hand, hand truck, etc. Vehicles parked in the vendor spaces must remain there for the duration of the Fair. Vendor booths are intended for selling merchandise only, not for parking spaces.
DONATION:
· Food and game booths - $200 Food and game vendors must supply a certificate of insurance naming the Otisville Lions Club as additional insured. Food and game vendors cannot add new items to their booths without the written consent of the Fair Committee. Please list all items (old and new) that are to be discussed. (Food and game booth items will not be duplicated.) Food vendors have the right to sell their listed products, exclusively, as long as the food booth operates in consecutive years. If you do not operate your food booth one year, the product you previously sold will be offered to another group or vendor and cannot be promised to be given back to you if you return the next year.
· Craft and new merchandise vendors - $75 (20′ x 20′ open, or 10′ x 15′ under tent, electric included) · Corner spaces - $100 (there are no corner spaces under our tent, electric is included) · Garage sale/Flea market spaces - $35 (no cover, – you may bring your own tent) The Otisville Lions Club will provide publicity for the Fair. Please make checks payable to: OTISVILLE LIONS CLUB c/o Sue Marshall, 777 Mountain Rd, Port Jervis, NY 12771. Please send a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your payment. Confirmation and a vendor parking permit will be sent to you after receipt of payment. ALL BOOTH Spaces are assigned first-come, first-served. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
1. Vendors must provide their own canopies or tents, tables, chairs, extension cords, etc.
2. The Otisville Lions Club, Village of Otisville, Town of Mount Hope, and any property owner connected with the Fair, will NOT be responsible or liable for the damage or loss of any kind to vendors or displays, or any injury during the fair, including setup and breakdown.
3. NO ALCOHOL, DRUGS, SMOKING, OR PETS (except service animals) ALLOWED ON THE FAIRGROUNDS. The vendor or exhibitor agrees NOT to engage in any activity that detracts from the atmosphere of the Fair, including bringing pets, the consumption of alcoholic beverages, the display of pornographic materials, drugs, etc. No silly string, poppers or bombs are allowed to be sold. No bull horns and no loud music are allowed from any food, game, or vendor booth. Warnings or expulsion are the penalties. All decisions of the Lions Club are final.
4. The vendor or exhibitor is responsible for the removal of their displays and all debris. If debris is left at the site, the vendor or exhibitor will be billed a $50 clean up fee.
5. The Fair Committee reserves the right to approve or reject all applications. The Fair Committee’s decisions are final in all matters of the Fair. 6. Craft vendors and garage sale/flea market merchandise will be separated. For insurance purposes and the safety of our patrons all merchandise must be kept neat and orderly. Items must be displayed on tables, if possible, and not clutter the walking space within the booth.
